The Overview

The drop in temps has been pushed by a northwest wind coming down the Great Lakes and swinging across GBay to the east and over our region. The cooler winds have less rain in them. But there will be some rain in North Muskoka (think Tower Hill/ Port Sydney and North) this morning. Bracebridge and south should see little rain with the clouds trying to open and let through the sun. Otherwise, a great day for golf as the dock will not be as appealing today.

The Radar Never Lies!

Our opening temperature starts at 12C(FL 11C) under fluffy clouds. It will warm to 13C (FL 12C) in the afternoon and then cool to 4C (FL 2C) overnight. Full on natural air conditioning today.
Winds – the westerlies are here fore the day – hopefully pushing the clouds out.

Bug Report

The Bug Report – the bugs are buzzing and hungry. We are their dinner now. The bugs are dinner fore the swallows. And we always thought we were at the top of the food chain! Nothing worse than rain and bugs – but we are being baptized into Summer 2020! But here at Muskoka Highlands, the ever-present breeze keeps them mostly at bay.

Allergy Index

The Allergy Index is HIGH. The rain knocked some out of the air – but then it brought on the next surge in growth. No winning at this game!!

UV Index

The UV index is MEDIUM in this broken cloud cover. It will be cool but with the sun higher on the horizon, it will still penetrate the cloud cover.
