A Day of Wet Weather Transition to Warm!

The Overview

A day of weather transition is here. There is a push of warm air coming up the Ohio Valley and across GBay – pushing this cold front back north. The collision will create a wet day from about noon onwards. This battle will end this evening and then we get back into double digits and shorts weather again! Fore a week or so.

We will open the day at 2C (FL 1C). It will warm to 7C (FL 5C) in the afternoon and then cool to 6C (FL 5C) overnight. The warm is coming.
Winds – an ill wind blows from the East today bringing rain to us starting before noon and staying fore the afternoon.

The UV index is LOW today with sunshine denied by heavy cloud cover. Rain clouds!

Allergy Index

The Allergy Index is LOW as the pollination cycle is ending. The mold index is MODERATE in the warming temps. Tis the fall – the next dust will be the crushed leaves blowing in the wind.

Course Overview

Today is a golf day fore the hearty. Chilly, going to rain at some point, no sun. But that does not stop a committed golfer. One whose heart is seized with the game and just has to play another round. Are you this golfer?

Golf remains a safe-haven in troubled times. We are working hard to keep it there. Golf has agreed to many Covid policies – prepayment, shut clubhouses, names and emails for all golfers. If your course is not doing this – ask them why they are not part of the covid solution. With talk of shutdowns to contain Covid, your covid-compliant golf courses will remain safe and open so that you have something normal to do.
