Muskoka Highlands Golf Links is an 18 hole course with FootGolf, LawnBowling and a schedule of weddings for the summer. We have a few positions open for the right people.
Golf is mostly about entertainment and being social. People golfing here are not on the PGA or LPGA Tour. Typical golfers at Muskoka Highlands enter with a smile and leave with a smile, some stating they have played the best round of their life. Our Greens crew do a remarkable job at providing unduplicatable playing conditions. The course layout is just plain fun to play. Serious golfers think they can master the course. While they leave smiling, it is a smile of incredulity that their score was higher than they thought it should be when they teed off.
So what does that mean to staff? Our frontline staff are marketers – each with their own plan of how to market the course, the pro shop and themselves. Every day. If you are interested in growing in your career ambitions (starting in high school and university is always a good thing), then prepare a marketing plan over which we can have an interview. You drive the interview – you can make us want to hire you because you are razor sharp and show potential to grow in and around our business.
Sure there are greens fees to collect, drinks of all types to serve and the odd meal to create. Closing shifts have a serious component of cleaning ( just like at home!) and opening shifts have their set-up routine. We are introducing new programs and concepts this season – and you can be part of this creativity on a daily basis. Good ideas come from you and we implement them together.
We also have jobs if you have never worked before. It is a combination of work and life coaching for the summer. If you enjoy yourself and do a good job, chances are we will be asking you back next summer, and the next summer….and so on til you want to get a big-person job!!
Still interested? Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with an outline of your business plan ( always include history with any plan) and we will contact you.
Put on the thinking cap – we all learn here – every day!
