The Overview

A beautiful sunrise with fog and frost below. The temps fell to near freezing overnight. But the coldest time of the day is ……sunrise. So up came the sun, down went the frost. Only a minor delay this morning. The week ahead looks a bit mixed. We cannot deny that the earth is tilting its axis away from the sun, so it will cool. There is idle chatter about s… on the weekend, which would befit our 2Man scramble. It looks like s… in the upper reaches of our region – Parry Sound through Kearney early Friday morning.

We will open the day at 2C (FL 6C). It will warm to 14C (FL 13C) in the afternoon and then drop just a wee bit to 10C (FL 8C) overnight. Quite the rollercoaster of temps!
Winds –winds starting from SW at 6kph increasing to 17kph. More rain overnight.

A Wonderful day fore a walk – maybe to chase a little white ball, with your dog along fore the walk. Fresh breezes and mask-free on the course. Breathe in the fresh Fall air and enjoy life.

Covid is not going nicely, it is not just going to disappear as some have said at the outset. We are in this until there is a vaccine. So the activity selection is limited – much to golf. Golf has agreed to many Covid policies – prepayment, are shut clubhouses, names and emails for all golfers. If your course is not doing this – ask them why they are not part of the covid solution. With talk of shutdowns to contain Covid, your covid-compliant golf courses will remain safe and open so that you have something normal to do.
