A Warm Day – Thanks Hurricane Delta!

It warmed overnight and opened warm this morning. A brilliant sunrise and a great day ahead. The tropical storms are throwing warm moist air at us and we can enjoy it fore a few days. Red Sky in the morning – normal will return.

The UV index is MODERATE due to the lower angle of the sun, but them sun has disappeared!

The warm gulf breezes are good fore golf. Time to play is today. Tomorrow we are anticipating a frost delay til 9AM given the -3 overnight temp. We are shuffling tee times to later in the day – and hoping the frost is a no-show. But this is not likely. Today, lots of people in shorts – great to see. Smiles abound!

Golf has agreed to many Covid policies – prepayment, shut clubhouses, names and emails for all golfers. If your course is not doing this – ask them why they are not part of the covid solution. With talk of shutdowns to contain Covid, your covid-compliant golf courses will remain safe and open so that you have something normal to do.
