The Overview

The Spring melt is now underway. The sun, wind and warmer temps are shrinking the snow-pac at a moderate rate, reducing the threat of serious floods like we had last year. But we are not in control. We will have decent weather til Thursday when another front of rain moves through in the morning. It will be a relatively short burst, and the clear through quickly. The temps will remain moderate, helping to eliminate snow remnants. The winds continue to wander around the compass like a lost soul.

We will soon have grass on which to walk ourselves, and we will be missing you as you might well have been able to safely wander about responsibly chasing the white ball. We worry about your mental health and we hope you will be able to withstand the pressure of the next couple of weeks (or longer) within your own property. We will being wandering our back yard keeping an eye on things that need attention. We will try to resist the temptation to test out the playing surfaces to ensure they are properly maintained.
Remain committed to self-isolation with a reasonable edge. There is lots of room in PSM for walking and other activities. Maintain your mental health. Help others keep theirs. Keep an eye on your neighbour – especially if they are elderly (remember – there are more Canadians over 65 than under 16).

The Radar Never Lies!

Our opening temperature starts at 0C(FL 0C) and will warm to +5C (FL +2C) in the afternoon and then chill to -3C (FL -7C) overnight. A decent melt.
The UV index is low due to cloud cover fore the day.
Today the breeze starts from the SE moving to the NW and eventually North overnight. Not going above 10kph over this period. The winds will remain benign tomorrow, eventually shifting to the East. They seem to rotate as the world turns.
