The Overview

Hey February! You are off to a consistent start. Today it will snow between 10AM and 4PM, and a northern push will clear this from our area so no freezing rain hopefully. The temps will remain in the quite livable range through the next 2 weeks.

The Radar Never Lies!

Our opening temperature starts at -3C(-6C) and it will rise to -0C (FL-3C) in the afternoon and then drop to -1C (FL -6C) overnight. Still in the snow zone.

The winds are out of the south with minor variances from SE to SW through the day, all at less than 10kph. Tonight they will shift to the West . This is snow weather – yes we will actually get the snow.

Daylight Hours

Sunrise – 7:36AM, Sunset – 5:26PM. And the sun is getting higher in the sky – and stronger to the feel.

Road Report

The plows are out across Ontario. Roads are snow covered in SW Ontario and they are starting to show as partly covered in our region. As this snow moves in, they will be snow-covered and this will bring caution to driving through today. This should be all cleared up overnight and leave clear driving tomorrow.

School Bus Status

School bus report – the weekend. The busses should be happier today.

Snowmobile Report

OFSC is reporting 19600 km of open trails. That is up a wee bit again from yesterday. Snow last night and today will help restore some of the trails.
There are 67 days til green grass. The Waste Management Open finishes today. It is likely golf’s biggest party combined with an actual professional tournament. We know you are getting restless to golf and party. The golf bug bite will continue to itch and needs to be scratched. The hi-def indoor simulator is operating and ready fore you and your foursome. Book now! It is time to start getting the swing in shape fore opening day, or before you might be headed South fore a golf trip. Added bonus – Hendrik is here to steal your clubhead covers – and cuddle. Call the clubhouse 7056461060 to book your time.

The grass is not likely to know things are warmer up top, so it will continue to sleep under the cover. We will get the grass’s opinion soon enough!
