The Overview

The winds are battling for dominance of our region as the 45th parallel remains the battle line. A strong front will move in overnight, and leave before morning. Warmer temps could bring rain, freezing rain and snow over the next 24 hours. This front will pass tomorrow and leave light rain possible during the day. Early Saturday, another front comes in from the SW and is loaded with wet. We look like we are getting snow at this point, but this one is too close to call. The alternative is freezing rain and rain. Let’s cheer for the North winds!

The Radar Never Lies!

Our opening temperature starts at -25C(FL -29C) and it will rise to -9C (FL -17C) in the afternoon and then keep going up to +3C (FL -1C) overnight. Special Weather statement issued for later in the week.

The ill winds are from the East peaking at about 26kph late afternoon, and falling back tonight. Tonight will see them move around the compass to SW, bringing a push of warmer air and rain to much of Ontario. There are north winds over GBay pushing back on the warm front, bringing rain, freezing rain and snow close to if not on Muskoka Parry Sound.
