The Overview

The radar is clear through Thursday – no precip of any form. There is nothing forming up. So we are in fore some clear chilly weather in this time. The snow pack is consolidated into a crust that will support lighter folk. Travelling could be a challenge with black ice but caution will allow fore this. Is this Winter’s last gasp? Time will tell.

The Radar Never Lies!

Our opening temperature starts at -4C(-9C) and it will rise to -3C (FL-7C) in the afternoon and then drop to -16C (FL -22C) overnight. The North winds have brought the chill back into Winter fore a few days.

The winds are out of the NW at less than 10kph fore the day. They will remain there through tomorrow shifting to the NE late in the evening.

Daylight Hours

Sunrise – 7:41AM, Sunset – 5:18PM. We have gained 144 seconds of daylight since Winter Solstice.

Road Report

The plows are out across the province dealing with the change in temperature and our need to travel. We are in ideal ice conditions with the saturated banks leaking onto highways. Care and caution are key words fore your travel today.

School Bus Status

School bus report – a colder wait fore the bus this morning. No cancellations at this point, none expected unless a bus calls in sick due to the cold.

Snowmobile Report

OFSC is reporting 16200 km of open trails. That is down a wee bit due to the recent rain. We are hoping fore snow to restore some of the trails.
There are 72 days til green grass. We know you are getting restless to golf. The golf bug bite will continue to itch and needs to be scratched. The hi-def indoor simulator is operating and ready fore you and your foursome. It will feel odd carrying clubs through snow – but the reward is greater! Book now! It is time to start getting the swing in shape fore opening day, or before you might be headed South fore a golf trip. Call the clubhouse 7056461060 to book your time.

Added bonus starting tomorrow – Hendrik will be here to steal your clubhead covers – and cuddle.

The weather is the weather. The cover is great fore the grass – it is counting down too!
