The Overview

Apologies – delay in posting due to computer problem.

The end is in sight. The snow falling in the early morning will clear through around 9AM and then the radar is clear – for a while. There will be some light snow mid morning tomorrow, and then there is a front headed from the SW early Tuesday. With the winds swinging to the SE, and the temps hovering around freezing over the next week, it will be an interesting time. Lots can happen in this timeframe so we will see more clearly tomorrow. The wind fronts continue to battle over the 45th parallel – and we live on it. So we get the entertainment all winter.

The Radar Never Lies!

Our opening temperature starts at -10C(FL -16C) and it will “warm” to -9C (FL-13C) in the afternoon and then down to -15C (FL -21C) overnight.

The winds move through NE to NNW dropping in speed to 6kph. They will blow the snow front out, and then swing to the E or SE overnight, and become benign tomorrow.

Daylight Hours

Sunrise – 7:53AM, Sunset – 4:57PM. We have gained 94 seconds of daylight since Winter Solstice.

A Special Day In A Wonderful Setting

Weddings are a special day for many people involved. Here at Muskoka Highlands, we reduce that stress with attention to every detail.
But our distinguishing feature is our setting – both inside and out. The clubhouse is designed to hold about 85 guests and the picture shows how this can happen. For larger parties, we engage a tent professional to create a unique setting outside.

Do you want to feel the warmth of a timber-frame clubhouse? Drop us an inquiry – weddings@muskokahighlands.com. We will respond and we will work with you to make your day special.
