The Overview

We thought we were the only ones chilled. This Polar Dip has reached well south into northern Florida. If we were in Vancouver, we would be golfing (right – they never did stop golfing and they are ahead of us on flattening the curve – just sayin’). The big Dip looks like it is moving out by Wednesday and we might then resume the May weather that we had anticipated in April. Otherwise, a dull quite weather day for PSM.

The Radar Never Lies!

Our opening temperature starts at 1C(FL -2C) in sunshine. It will warm to 5C (FL 2C) in the afternoon and then cool to -2C (FL -5C) overnight. Keep your plants in a warm spot.
Winds – have shifted to the North as they push this cold front well down into the US seemingly to northern Florida. They will increase in speed up to 20kph this afternoon. They look pretty determined to stay here until that cold bulge moves off to the East mid-week.

Allergy Index

The Allergy Index is MODERATE. The trees remain in temporary hibernation at these temps so the pollen is held back somewhat. Thanks to Cedar, Juniper and hardwoods like Boxelder and Maple Alder fore budding and starting to exhaust your Spring pollen.

UV Index

The UV index is just MODERATE today with cloud cover fore most of the day. The clouds south of Barrie are delivering a mix of rain and snow – so small mercies for Muskoka.

The Dogs

A Special Day In A Wonderful Setting

Weddings are a special day for many people involved. Here at Muskoka Highlands, we reduce that stress with attention to every detail.
But our distinguishing feature is our setting – both inside and out. The clubhouse is designed to hold about 85 guests and the picture shows how this can happen. For larger parties, we engage a tent professional to create a unique setting outside.

Do you want to feel the warmth of a timber-frame clubhouse? Drop us an inquiry – weddings@muskokahighlands.com. We will respond and we will work with you to make your day special.

Muskoka Highlands is committed to your safety while you enjoy your game. Please read our COVID procedures BEFORE booking your Tee TimeLearn More
