Golf In Shorts Today!

Positively balmy today! We will open the day at 10C (FL 8C). It will rise to 21C (FL 23C) in the afternoon and then rise to 2C (FL -2C) overnight. Enjoy your time at the top of the weather roller coaster. Winds – the day starts out of the South at 13kph out of the SSE. Through the day, the will move around the compass swinging to the NE increasing in speed to 19kph after dark tonight.

Sunrise – 7:44AM, Sunset – 6:18PM. Enjoy the sunshine today! Another 2 months of shortening days til they start to get longer again.

School Bus Update – one bus in Kawartha Lakes running late – otherwise on sched.

Road report – roads good across Muskoka today. There is a bad section of Hwy 35 from Moore Falls to 115 and a bit East of this where the roads show as poor.

Lake Muskoka – moving down ever so slightly to winter levels.

Today and tomorrow are great golf days. Both are clear. Today we will play in shorts. Tomorrow we will wear toques. Only in Canada! And they will continue to be great until the 2nd snow fall. When we will the close the course and open the indoor hi-def simulator.

Covid is not going nicely, it is not just going to disappear as some have said at the outset. We are in this until there is a vaccine. So the activity selection is limited – much to golf. Golf has agreed to many Covid policies – prepayment, are shut clubhouses, names and emails for all golfers. If your course is not doing this – ask them why they are not part of the covid solution. With talk of shutdowns to contain Covid, your covid-compliant golf courses will remain safe and open so that you have something normal to do.
