This is a hot cloudy day ahead. The sun will break through from time to time this morning, with more sun later in the day. This is definitely a golf day. No need to sit on the dock and wait for sun this morning. You might be challenged to find a tee time in Muskoka this weekend. The roaming groups of players have arrived and are keeping the tee sheets busy.
Stay active here at Muskoka Highlands, your Community Golf Course. Stay engaged. Golf, Lawn Bowl, Foot Golf.
Our opening temperature at 630 is a cool 17C (FL17C) – boiling all the way to 26C (FL34C). Still shorts weather. Bring on Summer II.
The UV will be 7 today as the sun breaks through from time to time!!
The Air Quality Index is quiet at 1 reflecting the clear air we are breathing.
The Pollen index remains moderate with ragweed and other aggravating weeds in full blossom. The cooler weather will help but weeds love to spread pollen. Keep the tissues and the anti-sneeze drugs handy for a while longer.
The Pesky Fly Index is moderate. The house flies remain in abundance. Lots of swatting!! If you want to swat a golf ball, see you on the first tee.
The Fire Index is remaining LOW with this rain. Everything is now soaked – tough lighting a campfire if your wood was not covered. My what a change!
There is lots to do out of doors. Maybe FootGolf here at Muskoka Highlands. Or Lawn Bowling. Try our #begreaton8 selfie.
And remember – you can bring your dog to Muskoka Highlands (take a selfie and post it with your checkin on FB). It gets their walk in with yours!!
This is just another wonderful weekend in Muskoka. The water will still be warm enough for a dip. The golf courses are in wonderful shape. It is now your turn to make your move. Get out and play. Save some energy for tomorrow when the Terry Fox Run happens in many towns – including Bracebridge!!
