The Overview

The radar is clear and the temperature warming, meaning it will be partly cloudy today as lower pressure prevails. There is a major front moving up the Ohio valley but the warmer front out of the SE seems to be pushing it well north of Parry Sound Muskoka (PSM) through Friday. It is possible that this will change as it is passing very close to us. The snowmobilers will enjoy more trails being opened daily. The Fire and Ice supporters will be thrilled with some moderate winter weather this weekend in Bracebridge. Snowshoers and skiers alike will be able to enjoy the out of doors without fear of, but still respect fore, frostbite. Skating on all of the ice trails that have opened will be enjoyable. Driving should be on dry pavement. Life is good. Where are those robins that are in Cincinnati? (Guess they are staying there fore a bit!)

The Radar Never Lies!

Our opening temperature starts at -6C(FL -11C) and it will rise to -1C (FL-5C) in the afternoon and then drop slightly to -9C (FL -13C) overnight. The big chill is heading out the door fore a multi-day vacay. Partly cloudy today as the lower pressure sets in.

The warmer winds are out of the SSW at around 15kph, holding that speed fore the rest of the day. They are double that speed over GBay. Tomorrow they will swing back and forth around the Southern skies from West to East and back.. This is ideal fore more snow off GBay, but the radar is seeing nothing before Friday.

There are 78 days til green grass. We can tell by comments on social media that golfers are getting restless. The PGA show is in Orlando this week and all of the new products will be featured. The golf bug bite needs to be scratched. You can play those holes today. The hi-def indoor simulator is operating and ready fore you and your foursome. Keep the banter going all winter. Now is the time to start getting the swing in shape fore opening day, or before you might be headed South fore a golf trip. Call the clubhouse 7056461060 to book your time.

This new snow is a welcome blanket fore the course to protect the unpredictable nature events that are dominating the weather landscape. This will help with protection of the playing surfaces until the Spring melt.
