The Overview

The Vortex has passed but the after breath of cool air keeps wet weather below Barrie. Warm air is started back towards PSM over the next few days. It will take some time to move this massive cold chunk back North so we have to be patient. All those flowers in your garage will just have to wait fore the long weekend for the right heat. It will be Wednesday before we get back into double digit warm temps.

The Radar Never Lies!

Our opening temperature starts at 1C(FL -3C) in sunshine. It will warm to 7C (FL 4C) in the afternoon and then cool to -1C (FL -5C) overnight. Still not planting temps.
Winds – have shifted to the West which makes them a bit friendlier. They will increase in speed up to 20kph this afternoon. But they are fed from the south so it should not be as bone chilling as yesterday. Unfortunately, they swing back to the North overnight and increase in speed, slowing the warming process.

Allergy Index

The Allergy Index is LOW. The trees remain in temporary hibernation at these temps so the pollen is held back – an upside to this chill? Thanks to Cedar, Juniper and hardwoods like Boxelder and Maple Alder fore budding and starting to exhaust your Spring pollen.

UV Index

The UV index is just HIGH today in intermittent sunshine. The sun is ramping up to full power at 63 degrees on the horizon.

A Special Day In A Wonderful Setting

Weddings are a special day for many people involved. Here at Muskoka Highlands, we reduce that stress with attention to every detail.
But our distinguishing feature is our setting – both inside and out. The clubhouse is designed to hold about 85 guests and the picture shows how this can happen. For larger parties, we engage a tent professional to create a unique setting outside.

Do you want to feel the warmth of a timber-frame clubhouse? Drop us an inquiry – weddings@muskokahighlands.com. We will respond and we will work with you to make your day special.

Muskoka Highlands is committed to your safety while you enjoy your game. Please read our COVID procedures BEFORE booking your Tee TimeLearn More
