The Overview

The major snow front has passed to our region’s East headed to Ottawa. It will take some time to get the roads back to black as they are snow covered across Muskoka Parry Sound. With the temps returning to the freezing mark and the winds from the South, the gradual melt will continue. The sledders will enjoy this weather as will the skiers and the snow-shoers. Next week is much milder that today and tomorrow. Wiarton Willie has done his prediction – early Spring. Let’s see what happens!

The Radar Never Lies!

Our opening temperature starts at -6C(-10C) and it will fall to -9C (FL-17C) in the afternoon with some sunshine and then drop to -15C (FL -23C) overnight. The North winds bring a chill to the land – only for today.
The winds are out of the NE at 15kph and will gradually increase to 22kph into the night. Tomorrow, the will start out of the NE and around noon will lose all speed and change direction to come from the South. Another weather change likely as we move back up to the freezing mark over the weekend and into next week.

A Special Day In A Wonderful Setting

Weddings are a special day for many people involved. Here at Muskoka Highlands, we reduce that stress with attention to every detail.
But our distinguishing feature is our setting – both inside and out. The clubhouse is designed to hold about 85 guests and the picture shows how this can happen. For larger parties, we engage a tent professional to create a unique setting outside.

Do you want to feel the warmth of a timber-frame clubhouse? Drop us an inquiry – weddings@muskokahighlands.com. We will respond and we will work with you to make your day special.
