The Overview

A calmer weather time for Muskoka Parry Sound over the next couple of days. The ill winds from the East are moderating the temps once again with snow today and possible light rain tomorrow. The changeability of the weather is understandable when you see the wind patterns on either coast of North America – we are in the lull in the middle. But wind moves, and we never know if it will be from the North or the South from which the next front arrives. The weeks sees us with “warmer” weather til Thursday when it starts back into the normal January range.

The Radar Never Lies!

Our opening temperature starts at -10C(FL -14C) and it will “warm” to -4C (FL-6C) in the afternoon and then down to -8C (FL -13C) overnight.

The ill winds move through E and SE today as a light breeze. There are major wind storms on the East and West coasts, and we are in the calm between them. These ill winds point to a “warming” of sorts and possible light rain tomorrow.

But our distinguishing feature is our setting – both inside and out. The clubhouse is designed to hold about 85 guests and the picture shows how this can happen. For larger parties, we engage a tent professional to create a unique setting outside.
