Wasn’t that a blast? The indicator of moisture is our fairways – they are back to a mottled green, and starting to come back to full life. Sometime this weekend, we will say good bye to the Carnoustie conditions, and welcome back the lush Muskoka Highlands.
Our opening temperature at 630 is a cool 14C (FL14C) – warming to 22C (FL27C). The cooler air is now here – enjoy it!!
The UV will scoot to 7 today with the clearing of the skies.
The Air Quality Index is quiet at 1 reflecting the clear but humid air we are breathing.
The Pollen index remains moderate with Plantain and grasses being the culprits.
The Pesky Fly Index will increase in this cooler temp. Every ying has a yang!
The Fire Index is back to LOW! We understand the fire bans have been lifted in many areas of Muskoka – best to consult with your local municipality on this matter before striking that match. Caution is still needed as we still need more rain to truly moisten the ground. The last rain was good, but the ground was not as receptive due to its very dry condition.
There is little reason to not enjoy the out of doors starting today. There are some small pockets of rain dancing about. If it takes you for a twirl on the dance floor, enjoy your brief 2 step! Mother Nature is an amazing partner – one we must truly respect.
