Yes – we hire people for our seasonal work – May-Oct – or some subset thereof…
But we don’t hire just anybody. We are looking for team players who want to write and execute your own marketing plan here at Muskoka Highlands. So if you are interested in joining our team for the 2018 season – please submit your marketing plan to us. We will evaluate – offer feedback – and if we are aligned, offer a job.
This is no ordinary golf course job. This is a career advancing job. You are likely in marketing or business or both at University. You will have worked in jobs from an early employment age and you know where you are headed. But it will take time and experience to get to a full-time job. You will be very familiar with social media and will be prepared to develop content on a continual basis. You will be comfortable with many of the current platforms and their specific use.
Importantly, there are customers to serve. And if your plan works well, there will be many customers to serve. But while entertaining guests who are right in front of you, you are creating loyal customers who will want to come to play here – just because of the way you treated them. Customer service background and capability is a must. As is your Server Card from the LLBO. And your ability to work unsupervised – without the urge to grab your phone and stay connected with friends and family – they can wait til the end of your shift.
