Muskoka Highlands is home to a foster puppy – a new one every year. Starting with Hero and moving through 16 more to Ellis. They all have their personality and charm – and frazzle!! We love them all. Only 3 have not gone on to guide in some fashion. We are thrilled with your participation in fostering these puppies. And when you bring your dogs to the course to go golfing, it is that extra level of socializing that has made them the successes they are today.
Hero was our first pup – we learned a lot from his experience with us. He groomed us to get us where we are today.
Mardy was a good challenge. He came to us from another foster situation that was not working so we had him for rehab – and he made it!!
Eagle was a gem – he trained really well – and went on to a career in Special Skills. He is now retired.
Ian was our adventure in fostering 2 at the same time. He was a recovery project for us – and ultimately it was Russell who trained him to success.
Angus was often called Anguish as he was a wee challenge to train – but we got there – and he is now special-skills assisting a gentleman in Toronto. He is a great companion and getting him walking again.
