The Overview

A bright sunny morning gets the golf blood flowing. And so it should….in about 2 weeks. We need to get past the snow and the peak of the C19 curve. They should both happen in this timeline. Then we will open – with new routines for you and fore us to follow. Start thinking about how you will remember to socially distance when you come to golf. Golf is close. And if you order now, you can have your new ProV Golf balls fore your first round. Otherwise, it will be a later round. Yes – the 443 offer from Titleist is here and we are ready to take your order. It will get you one step closer to the first tee – which we think could be early May.

The Radar Never Lies!

Our opening temperature starts at -5C(FL -7C) in bright sunshine. It will rise at 9C (FL 7C) in the afternoon and then cool to 2C (FL -2C) overnight. Sliding back down the weather roller-coaster. The winds are in a battle. There is a strong front from the North coming down Lake Huron and a stream from the South pushing north. This will give us winds form the South today. Overnight, the North will win and tomorrow we will get winds from the NW at 30kph. They will push through a snow front overnight and through by sunrise tomorrow. 200420wi

Road report – The roads are all in great driving shape. Snow overnight will change things early tomorrow. But it will go back to black quickly. We hope to replace the road report with a Fairways report soon. 200420rr

Pollen Index

The Pollen Index is alive and registering as HIGH in the warmer temps due to Cedar, Juniper and hardwoods like Boxelder and Maple Alder starting to exhaust their Spring pollen. This will slow this week in the colder temps. 200420al

But our distinguishing feature is our setting – both inside and out. The clubhouse is designed to hold about 85 guests and the picture shows how this can happen. For larger parties, we engage a tent professional to create a unique setting outside. Do you want to feel the warmth of a timber-frame clubhouse? Drop us an inquiry – weddings@muskokahighlands.com.
