A Murky Start to a Great Fall Day!

The Overview

Waking up in a fog is not foreign to most of us. But when the fog is outside the eyes, it is a challenge. Walking to work today was like walking through a light rain that was suspended in front of me. Heavy mist that has settled back into our area. The sun is somewhat blocked by the high-level smoke from the West coast making it that much harder for it to clear this low level mist. But it will happen and we will have a great day.

The Radar Never Lies!

Our opening temperature starts at 8C(FL 8C). It will warm to 21C (FL 23C) in the afternoon and then cool to 12C (FL 12C) overnight.
Winds – we are in the doldrums this morning with little air movement before noon. Breezes will then start out of the West peaking at 6KPH later in the day.

The UV index is MODERATE today with sunshine whenever it burns through the early morning fog and the haze created by high-level smoke from the western fires.

The Allergy Index is LOW as the pollination cycle is ending. The mold index is LOW in the chill temps.

Sunrise – 7:07AM, Sunset – 7:10PM. And another 3 minutes of daylight disappears. Less than 12 hours of daylight tomorrow and shrinking… How many days of golf left this season? Will you be playing in December?

Fire Index –the index is MODERATE around us. The rain and cool weather has eliminated any thoughts of a forest fire locally. However, we are drying over the next week.

Course Overview

Welcome to Fall golf – it is a crazy time in the golf business where everyone wants to play at the same time. Walking is a preferred alternative now as carts are in strong demand. It is layer up and layer down time. Embrace it and enjoy it! Golf remains a safe-haven in troubled times. We are working hard to keep it there.
