The Overview

So the weather worm is making all the indications that it is turning fore the better. The warm front naturally carries moisture and as it bumps into the cool front in which we have lived fore the past while, there will be rain. It is looking like Saturday is going to be a wonderful summer-like day. This will be coupled with plant growth (Pollen release) and sunshine (UV precautions). The roads are getting a makeover in many places and this will congest traffic a bit. Let’s hope this trend continues into summer now.

The Radar Never Lies!

Our opening temperature starts at 2C(FL -0C) in sunshine. It will warm to 14C (FL 13C) in the afternoon and then cool to 7C (FL 5C) overnight. The warm cometh – along with the wet.
Winds – are finally out of the South. This warmer system will collide with our cooler system and create a rain front over the next 2 days. The wind will be in the 15kph range fore most of the day. But the northerlies are not done with us yet. They return late tomorrow with most of it a light breeze <8kph out of the NW. This will clear the rain system out late tomorrow afternoon. 200514wi

Daylight Hours

Sunrise – 5:49AM, Sunset – 8:39PM. Early cloud cover after a brilliant sunrise. These clouds are bringing the rain with them – closer to noon.

Road Report

Road report – Economic stimulus is starting with roadwork. We are not supposed to be travelling very far so it will not bother us – right?

Allergy Index

The Allergy Index is HIGH moving to VERY HIGH over the weekend. The warmer temps along with the rain will bring a green flush to the region. It is interesting to watch the progression of the plants from Low to High and back to Low as they pass through the budding stage.

UV Index

The UV index is just MODERATE today with light cloud cover fore most of the day. It is not going to be an outside time for the next 36 hours.

A Special Day In A Wonderful Setting

Weddings are a special day for many people involved. Here at Muskoka Highlands, we reduce that stress with attention to every detail.
But our distinguishing feature is our setting – both inside and out. The clubhouse is designed to hold about 85 guests and the picture shows how this can happen. For larger parties, we engage a tent professional to create a unique setting outside.

Do you want to feel the warmth of a timber-frame clubhouse? Drop us an inquiry – We will respond and we will work with you to make your day special.
